What happens when you begin care at Chiropractic 4 Health
Your initial consultation comprises two parts. A First Consultation and a Report of Findings. These are included in the initial price and should you chose not to have care, no spinal adjustment will be given following your Report and you will not be charged for your Report appointment.
Your First Consultation lasts between 30 and 45 minutes and begins with a review of your Personal History Form to assess your needs and health and wellness goals. A sEMG (a computer scan to assess your muscle tension patterns), a spinal/neurological examination.
Your Second Consultation will include a Report of Findings and we will discuss a wellness plan that is suitable for your needs and wellness goals.
Progress Examinations will be carried out on a regular basis during which your progress will be assessed and you will discuss your future needs with your practitioner.
As early as possible in your care we recommend that you attend a Health Care Class where we explain the concepts of Network Spinal Analysis, Somato Respiratory Integration and we do a demonstration. The class lasts about an hour and included in your Care Plan.
Each Network session lasts for approximately 5-15 minutes depending on your level of care. Our objective for each session is to either deepen your current Network strategies or look to advance your strategies to another level of care. During your adjustment (entrainment) we apply light and gentle touches mainly to your neck and lower spine and ask you to focus your attention, breathe and stretch into certain areas of the body.
After your network session we advise you to sit and rest for a few minutes to allow your body to integrate your Network adjustment. It is a good idea to drink water to help flush out the toxins released during the healing process. You may feel relaxed and sleepy after your adjustment so it is not recommended that your plan an intense event after your Network adjustment.
