Network Spinal Analysis and Special Needs
Special needs encompasses a wide range of
conditions and diagnosis including cerebral palsy, autistic spectrum, learning
disabilities such as ADHD, ADD, PDD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, brain injuries such
as stroke, birth related or trauma related.
What many people with special needs have in common
is that they are super sensitive to the environment, be it noise, chemicals,
food, touch. They often find change in routine or people hard to handle. They
can express a whole range of emotions from frustration, anger, depression to
joy, love and compassion.
Everyone has inborn potential. Depending on our
life circumstances that potential varies. With NSA we work to maximise the
inborn potential of each human being so that they can respond to their
environment in the most creative, enjoyable manner possible.
We regularly see improvements in sleeping patterns,
energy levels, mood tends to improve. The ability to handle change - new
situations or people goes up. Where there are high levels of muscle tension, it
drops - sometimes to near normal levels. People become more co-operative,
relaxed and happy.
Because every special needs child or adult is
unique, it is impossible to describe how each will respond. Because of the
gentle nature of NSA, care is never traumatic or challenging. No manipulation
of any kind is ever used on our practice members. For almost everyone the
experience is relaxing and positive.
